The Leccese (of Lecce) stone and the Carparo are a soft limestone which are extracted only in Salento, a part of the region Puglia in
the south of Italy. These stones are the peculiarity of the subsoil of this land in which is holded part of its history. For about three decades Centro Carparo has been extracting and working
this stone, using it for several applications like internal and external covering, architectural complements,furnishings and unique objects. |
